Rambling Rose....

The sky has been so crisp lately. We ran to the top of Chadwick Hill the other morning and could see all the way to Mt. Rainier. It is said before the Europeans came and brought car pollution and more masses to create fire pollution etc, you could see all the way to Mt. Hood from here! The Olympics were peaking out of the cloud bank which rose off the ocean, the tops all covered in powdery white. The foothills of Mt. Baker were rolling indigo jaggs, mimicking the ocean waters.

I've seen the golden crescent moon rising in the Eastern sky, above the forest trees, while the ground is crystal white with frost in the morning. I've noticed the muted hues of winter so clearly lately. Quite stillness in the air, crisp stalks of grass, silent clouds and sea.
